Swix Cera Nova X Cera F Powder Line

...or, as I like to call it, "forget everything you think you know about Swix"!

Because of our industry connections, Fast Trax is providing you with details as to the new Swix Products first, courtesy of Swix Sport USA.

As some of you may know, Swix has undertaken a 3 year project to revamp, reformulate and refine the Cera Nova wax line.  This fall, Swix will release the new line, called Cera Nova X.  This is the biggest effort to date that Swix has put forth to further develop their wax line.

The testing for this project included close to 800 different test sites on 3 continents, ranging from World Cup venues to local race sites.  Over 3,700 unique tests were performed at these different sites over the 3 year span culminating in approximately 7,400 kilometers of skiing, the equivalent of skiing from Lillehammer to Seattle.  Simply put, Swix put every wax in the line to a rigorous test to find a better formulation.  The result is that over 60% of the formulas have been upgraded to provide better and faster waxes for you and your athletes.

Swix has added some new powders, based on extensive testing and perceived gaps in the previous Cera F line.  Not every Cera F powder has changed, as Swix R&D as well as Swix Racing Service was simply unable to find better formulations for a few of the powders, but there are some new Cera F powders that you should be aware of and have in your box for the season.
